Pick-up from your hotel in Budva municipality

Departure from town Budva early at 8.30 am. The path leads through the capital city of Podgorica, to the North, into the canyon of the Moraca River. We can make a photo break at the steep walls of the canyon. Morning in the canyon, the rays of the sun, creating fabulous shadows, emerald river below, "make" feel the splendor of these places. Even in cloudy weather, the canyon is magnificent. A few kilometers from the canyon is the ancient Serbian Orthodox monastery of Moraca (mid-13th century), built by Stefan, the son of the ruler of Vukan and the grandson of Stefan Nemanja. Visit to the monastery and a short walk through the monastery garden. In the church there is a great shrine - the left hand of Holy Martyr Haralampi (202 AD).

Then the path leads us to the National Park Biograd forest. A unique relict forest, glacial lakes, richness of flora and fauna. Photo break and rest next to the lake.

Afterwards we pass the town of Mojkovac, where the landscape changes greatly, and where there is one of the deepest canyons in the world - the canyon of the Tara River (up to 1300 m deep), where the unique Djurdjevic-Tara Bridge is built, 149 m high - is near. A photo breaks near the bridge.

Climbing the mountains ... visiting the tourist center of Zabljak, the ecological capital of Montenegro. Arrival to the National Park of Durmitor. Park is located at an altitude of more than 1500 m above sea level. The National Park is rich in glacial lakes, dense forests of juniper and spruce, fields - twice inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Treasures list.

Time for lunch at the restaurant of national cuisine. The restaurant was built of logs, reminiscent of "katun" - a mountain home of shepherds. Among the many dishes of traditional Montenegrin cuisine, we single out a dish of young lamb cooked in a special way (under the hood). There are breathtaking view to the lake.

The return road through the city of Shavnik, Grahovo, in the Boka Bay of Kotor, a new road completes the circle. Return to Budva about 8pm.
